DJI Neo
DJI's smallest drone — 135 g and palm-launchable. Built for hands-free social-media capture, not serious aerial photography.
Who this drone is for
The Neo is positioned for casual creators who want short, hands-free clips for TikTok or Reels. Six preset shots (Follow, Dronie, Circle, Spotlight, Rocket, Helix) are launched from your hand and execute autonomously. It's not a substitute for a Mini-class drone — image quality, wind resistance, and range are all significantly lower.

FAQ — DJI Neo
Do I need to register the Neo?
Not for recreational use — 135 g is well under the 250 g threshold.
Is it a good first drone?
If your goal is short social-media clips, yes. If you want to learn aerial photography, get a Mini 4K or Mini 4 Pro instead.
Can I fly it in winds?
Not really. The Neo is a calm-conditions drone. If trees are moving noticeably, leave it on the ground.
